My Bio
Originally a disgruntled writer from Manehattan, I moved to Ponyville when I felt that I was in need of a change of scenery. I'd been suffering from writer's block and my last few books hadn't really gotten off the ground. Looking for some inspiration and an escape from the stress of living in the city, I decided that a small and quiet town would be perfect.

However, my moving in was overshadowed by the arrival of a much more important pony and the subsequent events of the Summer Sun Celebration that year. I was intrigued by these flesh and blood heroes I found myself suddenly living amongst. I would catch glimpses of them almost every day around town, considering that it's a relatively small community. Through rumors, hearsay and word of mouth, I started to learn of their exploits and constant mishaps. Some I assumed were exaggerated by the very nature of rumors (like Pinkie Pie's psychotic split personality, one of the "worst kept secrets in the entire town" according to the light-green unicorn mare from whom I had heard about it), but I knew others to be quite true due to having experienced or witnessed them firsthoof (like the incident with the doll-that-shall-not-be-named, involving Twilight Sparkle).

Every once in a while I'd also overhear stories or unconfirmed tidbits of information flying around, driven by the fears of the populace. Like those of a town of cursed ponies deep within the nearby Everfree Forest or sightings of cult gatherings to worship the long defeated Nightmare Moon.

All of these things, true or not, started to fuel my creativity and I could feel my special talent calling out to me once more. I decided to keep away from full on novels, believing it a better idea to stick to short stories or light reading (at least for now).

My editor, over in Canterlot, had been against my moving initially, stating that the country air would only encourage my laziness. She'd come around to the idea quite quickly though, once I started to send her hoofscripts much more often than when I was back in the city. They also arrived faster, considering that Ponyville is at the foothill of the mountain range upon which Canterlot is perched.

All in all, moving out here has been one of the best decisions of my life.
